Content Drought - Have Warframe Vets Lost Their Minds?
Content Drought - Have Warframe Vets Lost Their Minds?
HO HO why dont you forma your soma there buddy you thought if you exited out fast enough that you thought i wouldnt see a soma with no forma on it
dO iT nOOw
OMG THIS MAN DINT EVEN FORMA HIS TIBERON PRIME
NO WONDER YOUR NOT A WARFRAME PARTNER
but as a rank 10 and a perspective person i get what vets are talking about although im still uhhh struggling to say the least with eidalon hunts
i kinda get why you older guys say its a content drought,
i mean damn besides eidalon hunting im pretty much doing the "get a new weapon> take it to ESO (with nidus)> max it out in one go> rinse and repeat. so i am very much aware of what you guys are talking about.
im obviously late and they are updating the game with. ehhhh a few more things that dosnt really add much to game play besides a new mission node for warframe parts and uhhh oh a guitar uhhhh yeah thats really all i got
but good content you got none the less
Mr 21 with 1200 hrs over a couple years now (mid tier player) talking here, to me it looks like this.
Veterans want actual content like new types of missions and story content.
New players are content with getting new cosmetics on a monthly basis that they can throw platinum after.
Guess what is easier and more profitable to focus on for DE.
Where never gonna get actual content for vets, and as more n more vets leave Warframe the more shitty the Warframe community will become.
Because without the vets, there is NO TUTORIAL for new players and NO FRIENDLY community to great new baffled players.
I had the same battle royal idea because it what is relevant it will attract an army of new players.
and me having a love for cars and a racing mode using some type of warframe themed ground vehicle or aerial or maybe water or all three types.
it will bring a crap load of people. the warframe community will become some of the strongest in the world they can hold live contests from the these two modes so many people will get in to it
like many players im also a noob. warframe will reach into fortnite levels but less sweaty from this I love the game I don't want it to die out
I was never a white night for DE but I think they are more focused towards newer players rather than any one with 4000hours. I myself only stared about 8 months (when the sacrifice was released)ago and only recently completed the star chart and the main quests. For me there’s still a truckload if things to do but for veterans. war frame should have a scaling difficulty system. so you start off easy and things get harder when you progress, and I don’t mean unlocking new planets, I mean the levels of the nodes change every time you mr up.
I don't know. I played Warframe for quite a while when it came out. I stopped playing a few months before the Archwing release and started playing again somewhere around the release of Chains of Harrow and I play it until this day. (I created a new account when I started playing again.) but I don't feel like I can call myself a veteran. It's going to take a couple thousand of hours for me to earn the title of Warframe Veteran. Anyways, good work up there Mr.
Key system waz the best. Relic system suck's ass
An indepth AI overhaul to make combat more interactive, more tactical, more strategic would go a long way to making WF sustainable. WF is to much zombie shooter, press 2 to clear the room and not at all really fun. I get bored to tears after 30m in survival cuz shooting rows and rows and rows of progressively more spongy enemies. it gets old. more hitpoints, armor and dmg does not make for good gameplay. Id love a The Division type Warframe combat, even let the AI partake in the space ninja gameplay. Put enemies on par with us in terms of abilities. Like in Division, Hunters are basically Division Agents.
Honestly I think thats what should happen..
.u can only add so many game modes.
I hear Battle Royale and I vomit. fuck pvp.
End game should be travelling to another Galaxy that starts at 100, with several all new missions, enemies, and the works.
Content Drought? Game has tons to do. Problem is its nothing but 30 different intertwined grinds that does nothing but require no lifing to the max.
With upcoming railjack i think what they might do is have it so people who unlock railjack can rail warp to another star system or planet or whatnot with a randomly generated tile set enemy type and high lvls etc-maybe we will get some kind of dark sector game mode where its like a randomly generated nightmare mode
I really like the ideea of adding the Tau system, (something like the old void key ) but here you can get the umbra warframes and gear ( maybe combining with the clan and railjack and you get a really nice thing)
Ashisogi tenno is actually a boney meat bag. Lies! ;)
Second orb mother fight was a great way of introducing new content. It is not "currency/resource rewarding". But It Is rewarding in itself, as in, the fight Is FUN, therefore making it veery replayable.
Make new content that Is engaging for itself, if you don't wanna split the playerbase in regard to the drop tables they have access to.
Dude. It's people like you that stresses DE out about pumping out new content. Do you have any idea how many man hours go into introducing new content? You think DE is up there with their Harry Potter wand shelling out tons of new shit just to keep it back like barrels of oil and diamonds? Heres where you're fucking up. All you "veteran" players push for new content faster, and when they try to get something out to appease you as quick as possible y'all shit on half of it because of inconsistency, being incomplete, and just all around not perfect. So do yourself a favor. Put the controller down for a few, get some vitiman D and do something not involving Warframe. I've been playing Warframe on and off for about 5 years now. What this video tells me is you live and breath Warframe. Find some other hobbies bro. I used to sympathize with you about not being a partner. but now I feel like it will be the best thing for you. Unsubscribing and not watching your videos anymore.
Philosophically Broke 5 ヶ月 前
Note: I didn't mean for this to be a rant, I swear.
I still want wall running to come back. The wall hopping is. cringy at best. If there was a toggle for those that love to hop and those that love to run I would be happy.
I want the operations to come back. There were several I missed due to work. Some only lasted a few days and thr rewards from the operations have just lazily shuffled to Baro Ki'teer, falsely bloating what he has on offer and often taking up slots in his inventory.
Last week, players in clans were actively giving away Ignis Wraith blueprints for free because Baro Ki'Teer was asking 600 Ducats for the thing.
Stagnation. New enemy types are far and few between and when we do get them and in the case of the Hyenas, several corpus crewmen and other Orb Vallis enemies, we see several recycled assets (one of the Hyena types has enlarged Tenno armor pieces.)
Eximus units drop nothing good, which is confusing because you'd think they would drop some killer stuff with them being overall tougher to defeat than regular enemies.
The weapons. Weapons are getting left in the damn dust, and some newer weapons just add to the filler. The Plinx? Please. It's only purpose is to make people stopping poking fun at the Kraken, which I love btw.
A lot of weapons have just fallen off the map when it comes to DPS output. The Soma Prime, for example, needs to soak up 5-6 Forma before it begins to show off and even then, it drops hard due to how much ammo it soaks up.
Other weapon mechanics, like the Convectrix need to have another look. I like the Convectrix a little but it eats ammo faster than the Soma! Shotgun Ammo pickups only give you around 7 standard and for a beam weapon that's no bueno.
New weapons that dominate the pvp, like the Arca Plasmor did when it came out. That weapon single handidly killed off what was left of the diminishing pvp scene.
You'll see the same people players over and over again despite thousands of people playing round the clock!
Solo Survival mission spawns and Excavator missions might as well be overhauled entirely. They're hard to do, not because you can't kill enemies but because there are no enemies to kill at all or not enough!
Especially the relic runs. Not a single day, not one, has gone by where I have played a relic run on the Grineer ship tileset, the Corpus ship tile set, Gas tileset etc. that a Nullifier or other corrupted unit spawns in the fucking wall, the damn ceiling or the goddamn floor. Old bugs get neglected, new bugs get fixed sometimes.
How about Wraith, Prime and Vandal varients not being able to use their Default cointerpart's skin? This bugs the hell out of me. Some people like the way the vandal and prisma look. I absolutely hate them. I think the Vandals just looks low-res and bland.
How about the immortal skins on Primes? What about the attachments getting stuck on and not being able to remove Prime attachments entirely? (Mag, Hydroid and Ember Prime all have this same problem)
There are a lot of things wrong with Warframe that they should fix. I get the content drought, but for me if the content has fucking bugs and glitches and gunks up how the game works then why add more fuel to the glitched fire?
Okay, so 300 hours may not have anything on your 4500, but don’t act like that’s an insignificant amount of time dumped into a game. Not even five years ago, a game scratching 60-100 hours of content was considered jam packed full of things to do. Praise the fact that it was able to keep you invested for fifteen times as long as the next person all you want, but you lost me when you suggested that my 500 hours over the last two years is somehow irrelevant just because you play more.
Ashisogi Tenno Dude. This is all just your opinion. And Rob’s from AGGP, I guess. Put enough time into literally any long-lived game and it’s only natural that you’ll eventually find the end of the road. You’ve played this game for the equivalent of more FORTY-FIVE other games’ lifespans. How the fuck is it surprising that you ran out of shit to do? You sound like an entitled little prick here, which is incredibly disappointing because I only recently discovered your How Not to be a Shit series and watched just about all of them in the last week. You can clearly do better than this.
I understand full well that the lack of a true endgame is frustrating, but even World of Warcraft veterans hit the ceiling eventually. That’s the nature of continuous projects which require a constant flow of players. Sometimes you just have to accept that the goal is to get as many people invested as possible first, then appeasing your mathematically significantly smaller audience can come after you’ve shored up your player base. This is one of the fastest growing games no one was really talking about before Destiny 2 flopped. While your couple thousand veterans may be put off by their direction, DE now has millions more people to attend to.
does this excuse DE to from actively fucking up the game and community now? i think not
