How To Get More Free V-Bucks In Fortnite
The great thing about Fortnite is that it's free to play - you don't need to spend money to play. However, if you want certain cosmetics, you'll often need to earn V-Bucks in Fortnite.
Thankfully, there are a number of options you can use to boost up your V-Bucks balance without spending any real cash.
In this blog, we take a look at the top methods available for earning more V-Bucks for free.
Play Fortnite: Save The World
Interestingly, one of the most effective methods to get more free V-Bucks is by playing Fortnite: Save The World.
Save The World is another version of Fortnite that features PVE wave-based survival gameplay.
Save The World was released before Battle Royale, and whilst you have to purchase the game to play it, you can regularly gain V-Bucks for playing and the rewards you get can be used in Fortnite: Battle Royale.
Below, we've taken a look at the different methods you can use for earning more V-Bucks in Save The World. Please note that these methods do not work in Battle Royale mode. (We'll cover methods for Battle Royale below.)
Take Advantage Of Fortnite's Daily Login Rewards
Fortnite: Save The World gives players login rewards just for opening up the game each day. The rewards can vary, but every now and then you'll receive free V-Bucks.
The V-Bucks you earn will vary. As an example, on day 11, you'll get 50 V-Bucks. Day 28 you will be given 300 free V-Bucks.
If you are dedicated enough to log in for 336 days in a row, you'll get a massive 1,000 V-Bucks payout, as well as thousands more for smaller daily rewards as you make your way towards the 336th day. Complete Your Daily Quests For More V-Bucks
If you enjoy playing Fortnite: Save The World, make sure to complete the daily quests as well. You will get between 50 and 100 V-Bucks for completing a quest each day.
If you have a quest that's too difficult, you can scrap it and be given another one. You can only scrap a quest once per day.
If you complete your daily Fortnite: Save The World quests for just two weeks, you'll have enough V-Bucks saved up to buy a featured outfit on the Fortnite: Battle Royale item shop.
Climb Your Way Up The Free Pass
Not everybody has access to Fortnite: Save The World, so the methods above won't be accessible to everyone.
Thankfully, there are still a few methods you can use to earn free V-Bucks within Fortnite: Battle Royale.
The first method requires you to complete daily quests to climb your way up the free pass. By completing quests and leveling up your account, you'll earn more stars that will go towards increasing your free battle pass tiers.
At tier 18, you'll be given 100 V-Bucks and at tier 34, you'll earn another free 100 V-Bucks. You will also unlock cosmetic items, stickers, and emotes as you level up.
Purchase The Battle Pass And Complete More Challenges
Sometimes you just have to spend a little money to earn money. To get the most V-Bucks, you will need to purchase the Battle Pass so that you can complete more challenges.
Just like with the free pass, the Battle Pass will reward you with free V-Bucks for climbing up the tiers. It's easier to climb up the Battle Pass and there are rewards more regularly.
You get 100 V-Bucks at tier 4, tier 11, tier 19, tier 27, tier 35, tier 43, tier 51, tier 59, tier 67, tier 75, tier 83, tier 91, and tier 98.
In total, that's a massive 1,300 V-Bucks for completing your Battle Pass. When you consider that the pass itself costs 950, you're essentially getting 450 just for playing the game.
Watch Out For Scam Sites
There are many websites on the internet that claim to give you free V-Bucks for downloading generators or for providing your login information.
You need to be very careful when searching for free V-Bucks on the internet because many of these websites will attempt to steal your account or other personal information.
Never download any programs that aren't directly from Epic Games .
Earn Free Gift Codes With Points Reward Sites
However, not all sites offering free stuff are scams. You'll certainly find there are some points rewards sites - such as PointsPrizes - that will allow you to save up points by doing surveys, free offers, watching ads, sharing referral links and other daily tasks.
Once you've accumulated enough points you can then exchange them for a free Steam Wallet code, free psn code, iTunes Credit, Google Play codes, etc.
These are multi-million dollar companies and can generally be trusted to deliver on their promises. Unlike the scam sites, they won't make false promises about instant v-bucks or anything like that.
Can I Get Free V-Bucks Even If I Don't Use Steam?
Even if you're not using steam there's still tons of rewards you can convert into v-bucks. Because there aren't any V-Bucks gift cards, the gift card you will need depends on your platform:
- PC players can get PayPal gift card to earn free V-Bucks
- PC players can get PayPal gift card to earn free V-Bucks
- PS4 players can get a PSN Store gift card to earn free V-Bucks
- Android players can get a Google Play Store gift card
- iOS players can get an iTunes gift card
- Xbox One players can get an Xbox gift card
Look Out For Promotional Offers
Sometimes, Epic Games will release offers that are just too hard to miss out on. An example would be the Fortnite: Battle Royale starter pack.
This pack costs just $5, but it gives you 600 V-Bucks, a Rogue Agent outfit, and a Catalyst Bling backpack. Usually, V-Bucks can't be purchased unless you have at least $10 to spend at once.
Summary
We hope that the information in this blog has been useful to you. Good luck out there on your journey towards earning more V-Bucks.
